Games have become more and more devoid of content with the pass of the year. One could argue is because the graphics make them more difficult to program and making then big, but no, even when they resort to shitty graphics the contents are still lacking.
They just realized they can keep minimizing the effort and still sell buckets with microtransactions and other predatory tactics.
Covid gave them the perfect excuse to put it even less effort
