I honestly was the same way but a lot changed in me as of late and I ended up having one of my own but the whole time we were planning it we kept asking why we hadn’t just gone to the fucking courthouse. Of course it was completely worth it for the pictures and family get together aspect but I can totally see why people consider it a waste of money, especially with how shitty marriages turn anyway.
