Like, breeding doesn't take too long at all once you have a proper setup, but I can't help but shake the feeling that we wouldn't get as many kids spamming full teams of perfect shiny VGC flavor of the month mons.
I kinda miss the days of playing PBR online, where you could kick the shit out of box legends with niche mons because you put time into raising them instead of throwing a Master Ball and calling it a day.
All these thoughtless instant-gratification meme teams take a lot of the fun out of it for me, and although I understand the desire to cut out the middle man and get to the "real" game, that's kind of what all the simulators are for.
