>>36548249>>36548280you're trying to be facetious with this parallel you're drawing but it's actually right on the money. all of the games Sonic Team made after Sonic Boom were trash despite being unrelated to the spinoff, capping off with Sonic Forces. all of the things people didn't like about Sonic weren't going to be separated and put into this separate game so the "main series" would get better, the game was shit and unsurprisingly the main series only kept getting worse because the people developing it are astronomically out of touch.
the difference is that we won't ever be allowed to have a Pokemon Mania made by people who aren't fucking clueless to completely embarrass game freak.
