>>51228143That's the general idea, yeah. For a really long time they weren't allowed to say what they created either, as part of their contracts. At least as I understand it. The idea being that they would be head hunted, I assume.
Alternatively, there are clearly a ton of holes by the end of this about who created what and which pokemon are left over (it's a large number). GF has something like 120 artists on staff at any given time and a ton of them, presumably, never actually get their designs in the game. But even the ones who do may never be recognized for it. So, not only are a lot of these artists (the ones I'm posting) potentially not recognized as the designers of specific Pokemon, there might be even more artists who we just know absolutely nothing about on top of that.
