I'm looking forward to Sword and Shield. Personally, a new main series game is really the only thing I look forward to in this franchise. If I were 10 years younger, I may've gotten bent out of shape over the dex cut or the overworld graphics. But after playing LGPE (which my expectations were next to dinosaur bones) I was pleasently surprised, pokemon all looked great with the new lighting engine, textures, and animations. Even the chibified versions of old NPCs was a nice touch.
That all said, while I am excited for SwSh, my expectations are tempered because of the dex cut and graphical changes. But, if the Galarian Dex has at least 100 new mons (not inculding cross gen evos or reginonal variants) then I'm willing to say it's better than SuMo
