>>51482203It feels really weird that with all the training during his travels of getting badges to challenge the respective leagues, he failed by losing to an opponent before reaching the chance to fight the elite 4 and followed up by facing their champion. Yet here he is suddenly beating powerful skilled champions that own strong seasoned teams they've had for years. Even worse he is beating them with this all new team we barely grew to know. Not a single past pokemon he owned in other generations that have previous experience battling alongside him.
I dont mind that he's winning. It's been something that been anticipated for decades. Yet with how its set up being a tournament of champions for title of 1#, you'd think it would involve some past pokemon to show how far he's come. Just sorta feels like a waste of an opportunity.
