I grew up with Pokemon. Yellow was my first game and I've had multiple play throughs of every gen since. Eventhough my boyfriend and I have a very limied budget, he gave me a used 3ds and the game under the condition I wouldn't rush through it. So I've been taking my time, one city a day, with lots of trainng in between. I was having fun like old times, until I started reading about IV training, shiny hunting, masudabreding. Suddenly what I was doing did't feel good enogh and I spent the entire evening hatching eggs to no avail feeling stupid.
You know what, I was having a lot more fun the way was playing. Maybe I don't have any shinies or perfect ivs but I have fun.
