There is nothing to actually do except "shiny hunt". "Good pokemon" don't actually mean anything other than personal trophies. Nobody gives a shit about the PVP shit.
It's no surprise the game was at it's best when it used the King of the Hill format with the original gym system. There was actual incentive for competition, getting good pokemon, working with your team, not being a shitter, etc. Now it's just milking brainlets for raid passes and shinyhunting. There is no endgame for someone who wants any semblance of depth unless one cares about the turbo autist PVP rankings, but I have no idea why the fuck someone wouldn't just play mainline or showdown if that's what they want.
