>>16659909I looked at flora that's native to Australia, and I found the Callistemon, otherwise known as the "bottle brush". I was going to run with the idea of it starting out looking a bit like a Bottle Brush seed and then when it has its' final evolution, it would have several thin hopper tails that it could use like whips. I want to find a secondary typing to give it as well, so I'm gonna need to look more into Callistemons or hopping mice in general.
