Platinum is top 3 easily. It improved DP across the board and made teambuilding fantastic. Did you know you could catch a Yanma with compound eyes, teach it thief, and grind evolution items like metal coats and magmarizers off wild pokemon Bronzors and Magmars? I feel there was a lot of thought put into Sinnoh's gameplay.
But going back to DP, I like it for also being less linear and diversifying gym leader teams so they aren't all monotype, even though that was because of a weak Pokedex. I just wish the new evos were available in DP's maingame like Platinum's.
