Please, continue to shill. Give us progress reports. We thrive on this sort of thing. Or I do, anyway.
>>54952842>>54952939>>54952975If you're writing in english, use english grammar conventions. That's all I'm saying. It isn't hard. I don't care how you write when you're writing in whatever your native language is. It is objectively wrong to combine two languages grammar and/or punctuation conventions because it's un-fucking-readable. That's like saying, "Oh in my language we spell this word 麺類 so I'm going to use that spelling any time I'm talking about noodles in my fic even though the rest of it is in english, and if you have trouble reading 麺類 well then that's just your problem then you dumb american trash." It's like an english-speaker writing a book in Arabic but deciding to orient the text left-to-right because "oh that's just how we do it in my native language." Like, no. Dude. You're doing it wrong.
I don't care what symbol is used to indicate dialogue in languages other than english because I'm giving advice on an english-language website, meant to be read by english-language readers and writers. Portuguese anons, please do not take this as a personal indictment towards your language or your way of writing. You are fine.
