>>41313327>But season 1 animation was a little wonky anyway, so it changes a little from scene to scene.The original Pokemon anime is definitely not a bastion of amazing animation, but I think minor size changes between scenes are pretty much an inevitability in hand-drawn animation and likely digital animation as well, to a lesser extent. Animators don't have perfect precision and are more likely to go with what "feels" right than rigorously check the model sheets for every frame (especially given the cramped schedules they were likely working with).
Then again, I'm not very well-versed in the animation process, so I could be wrong about this.
