It's actually kind of upsetting just how uneventful BW's ending is. Iris and Cilan's exit from beginning to end was about four minutes, after wasting half of the episode on another generic TRio plot. The series as a whole seems to have made so little of an impression on the rest of the franchise that I guess I should've seen it coming, but damn. BW's high points were almost universally when they tried doing new things (more rivals, mini-tournaments throughout). The rest of it just reeks of "this is happening because it is supposed to, and we're not going to kayfabe it further." It's a weak series, and that's really unfortunate.
