>>44243617To break it down:
>Three Version ExlusivesSo while this would in theory make them a lot of money, and I don't particularly mind the starters being version exclusives the big problem with this is developing three separate games with different starting locations and progression. Your starting at three different sections of the game world and taking on different challenges at the same time. That sounds like your developing three games that take place in the same region which is a ton of work. And I think would be impossible to make.
>No LegendariesNot into the idea of nixing something so cool. What they need to do is honestly make Legendaries feel more legendary, they need to get a better writing team to make these creatures feel more grand and powerful and reflect that in the gameplay. I would love to see a Legendary Boss that is capable of doing things that no one else can do that is unique to them, kinda like Eternatus but on a bit grander scale. Like imagine you fight Ho-Oh and when it faints it revives instantly in a second wind style battle, its a phoenix after all so lets play into that. I'd also make it so, you can just capture the legendary after beating it. I think having a more complete battle that leads into "The Legendary Pokemon is impressed by your strength and wishes to join your side" is better than just tossing a master ball at it.
>Missable EventsNot into that. I would like to be able to experience the game in full without having to full stop my quest for badges to not miss a lot of events.
Some stuff is awesome though. Better AI, stronger more advanced Gym leaders based around themes rather than just simply type (I'd add in Items and EVs to the mix), side quests having effects on the story (As much as I dislike missable events, the idea of failing to complete the villain side quest causing the grunts to all have a potion is very cool). Maybe for things like that if you wipe out in those the quest can be considered a failure?
