Need help improving my voltturn team, so far I have it narrowed down to two different builds.
First one:
>Scizor
Scarfed because most people never see it coming, investing just enough in speed to let it outspeed base 115s, most notably starmie which is OHKOed by u-turn.
>Xatu
To be honest I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing with this set, this team is heavily reliant on switching so keeping hazards off the field is incredibly important. Because Espeon is so much better than Xatu, most people forget it has magic bounce which usually gives me some free hazards. The only reason Xatu is being used over Espeon is because it has u-turn.
>Rotom
Standard pain in the ass set, burn shit, volt switch away, piss off gliscors.
>Gliscor
Great defensive pivot with u-turn, protect lets me scout shit and for the most part works pretty great. Because of poison heal this fucker is absorbing status that other members would rather not have. Ice fang because I have no real answers for dragons, usually switch in tank the outrage, protect, and ice fang. EQ because it's never bad to have it.
>Flygon
Honestly, not sure what to do with this guy. Scarf gives me the speed I need to deal with shit but a lot of his coverage is redundant. Does pretty good damage but nothing particularly amazing, I also don't like have two pokemon with a 4X ice weakness on the same team.
>Mienshoa
Has been an absolute superstar for this team, LO and regenerator let me spam fake out and u-turn all day, and because of the constant switching it works fantastic. HJK fucks up just about everything that doesn't resist it and stone edge rounds out the coverage. Doesn't really mind toxic because it's never in for long.
Flygon is the most replaceable mainly because it doesn't really excel at anything. Xatu is here because hazards fuck my shit. Anyone see any obvious fixes.
