Poignant electricity surges through Xerneas' lightning rod horns before shooting upward into the dark clouds. The battle freezes into a calm standstill, both legendaries offering cold stares, Yveltal has not fired yet.
And then.

A single bolt of lightning shoots down from the sky and electrocutes Yveltal at the highest possible voltage Xerneas can exert. Yet, as powerful as Thunder is, Yveltal refuses to give up and go down, nor let go of its Oblivion Wing charge. The wyvern stays in place, rushes of electricity surging through its body, the attack seems like it lasts for an eternity but in reality is no longer than a few fleeting moments.
When the Thunder subsides, Yveltal is left smoking with battle scars all over it. No need to crack out those bitter berries though, it has another way of recovering that lost health.
