There's clearly a huge market for sprite based pokemon games and they're way cheaper to develop than 3d games so I don't understand why they don't do it
If they announced a new sprite based Pokemon game it would be insanely viral on the internet
I think there is a market for people who like the 3D style games and people who like the retro looking games
