It's hilarious how many people who USED to dislike/hate Popplio with every fiber of their being (bullying, trashing, what not, insert image of Popplio being given the middle finger here, man were there many) is now being oh so supportive of Entermaid/Poppmaid/Serlimaid/whatever her name is just because of her elegant factor while almost everyone who liked him from the very beginning feel pretty damn underwhelmed with her.
Now the "be careful of who you call ugly in high school" meme is being used on him when the funny thing is, almost everyone called him ugly. I myself won't deny, even I didn't like him at first (although not to the point of trashing it, merely hesitant because I never picked a Water starter) but I grew fond of it little after and much before this whole mess happened.
I won't deny of the possibility of there being people who like both Popplio and Entermaid, of which I don't mind, but those who think Popplio's teaching a lesson thanks to its new brandished elegance are filthy scum who feel the need to rub their "superior" choice on anyone who picked anything else but him when the truth is, it's really not that impressive either and some of those people might as well be part of the former Popplio Hate Club.
