Anything that isn't games, isn't official. It might be officially licensed, but every fucking time this shit comes up someone has to say it: "If it's not run by GF/Nintendo/Creatures Inc, it's not 'official' and it's not canon." There is no "official" Pokemon manga. There are just a handful of manga (5, I think? Maybe 6) that happen to be officially licensed but aren't really connected to anything else in any way. The anime fits into this category, too. Tajiri used to throw fits about this kind of shit and had to be quieted down before he eventually left production.
GRANTED, Special is about the closest you can get to an official Manga, so at least you weren't posting garbage. But calling that official art is like saying ReBurst is also official. It's like calling the Jessie/James porn done by the guy who did EToP "Official Art".
