Is there possibly a program which can find out the usage of moves and pokemons by type on Smogon, to really determine which types are currently the best? (in their meta, at least)
Stuff like;
>14% Fighting moves, top 3; Focus Blast, etc etc
>20% Dark moves, top 3; Knock off, Pursuit etc

What the fuck. Why isn't Primeape part Dark, then? Its all about mindless thrashing and chasing people down until it catches them. Not even prey, just anyone for the hell of it cause it's evil.
And why is Absol Dark? Because it was branded as such by people? It serves as a warning before catastrophes, if anything its a life-saver.

I'm genuinely surprised to see stuff like this every time someone mentions Cynthia. She's easy as fuck and I swept her whole team in Platinum with a single level 59 Gyarados. The problem with her team is that her Spiritomb sucks ass and is a complete setup bait. This is how the battle went:
>Gyarados vs. Spiritomb
>Dragon Dance three times while easily withstanding two Shadow Balls and one Dark Pulse
>Gyarados outspeeds and OHKOs her every Pokemon

By far the easiest champion battle I've ever had. Her Lucario even tried to use Extremespeed but Gyarados survived it because that Spiritomb didn't deal jack shit damage. Why are you all having trouble with Cynthia?

GTS offers no help since everyone wants starters in exchange for their Pokemon.
