>>32318487I didn't Amourshippers.
I said CRAZY Amourshippers. There is a difference.
In absolutely any group, there's the more civilized factions that get along well with other groups and remain neutral to them and there's the more fanatical groups that slam their opinions in everyone's faces like facts and attack them for daring to not think the same way.
This is very much in the case in the shipping community and in this era of Pokemon, the fanatic side of the Amourshippers are the most active and notorious. They end up making the more civilized side look bad. Kind of like how fanatic Pokeshippers did for their more civilized faction back when May first showed up.
The fanatic Amourshippers, however, got significantly more obnoxious after the famous kiss scene and have since been constantly trying to force the idea that no one else can be shipped with Ash now and that those two will end up together due to intentionally misinterpreting an interview that more than likely will be forgotten before the end of SM by the interviewee themselves. It's not like we'll see Ash's journey end anytime soon or see him end up with anyone in canon. It's just the fun of doing it on your own that certain others keep getting in the way of.
But I'm just stating what's been observed. None of that affects me any because I'm a "Haremshipper".
