they are meant to target the same audience or help including new kinds of gamers to the franchise, which fits for the case of pokken, ranger, conquest and even the weirds pbr and stadium (even masters if you count that apart)
but MOBA is not just not part of their audience preferences, but is over saturated with better stuff for those who like the genre
pokémon unite doesn't help to unite the fandom, but quite the opposite. it takes away too much of the Pokémon formula to increase the range of players and ends up as being pretty shit (not even that pretty because the graphics are horrid and the UI is copy paste from any other moba)
