>>43151287What did you like about gen 3?
>the good design of the region itself>great and memorable soundtrack>contests >ribbons >natures>abilities >double battles>memorable spin off like Colosseum, XD or Pinball >the cutscene of Rayquaza >the Battle Frontier (specifically the Battle Dome and Battle Factory)>regis puzzle>sevii islands>trainer tower>special and memorable events >a lot of Hoenn designs (Milotic is my favorite Pokémon since then)>introduction of "remakes" (Oras is the only bad) >berries >underwater (one of the best features) >secret bases and the possibility of visit the base of your friends thanks to link cable and use their NPC's to farm levels (top comfy)
>these games having the best work of animation and sound effects for the movements >pokenav>vs seeker>rematch with gym leaders for the first time>the very complete guide system of FRLG with the LR buttons (This is the only kind handholding I will accept, pretty well executed)>the new PC system is infinitely better that the past ones (Bill sucks, Lanette rules)Dislike
<no night cycle
<no cross gen evos in FRLG until the pos game unlike later remakes
<poor story in Hoenn and start of the "you are the chosen one"
<the only gen where you have an actual dad and was ultimately underwhelming and poor executed
<none real use of Wally and your rival in the story
<no retrocompatibily with gen 1 and 2 games
<no animated sprites in Ruby and Sapphire and FRLG for no reason (corrected in Emerald)
<literally no posgame in RS besides roaming and a worse battle tower, less than Gold and Silver (GBC games)
<quite underwhelming overworld graphics even for GBA (Corrected in FRLG)
