and on that same note, a region actually worth exploring would be neat too, despite how linear it is, Alola is at least on the right track, it's detailed enough and doesn't feel like tileset spam, but like Gen 6 before it still just feels plain empty, the 3D era offers so much potential to really make these worlds come alive, yet they're still just A->B snorefests for the most part
battle cutscenes could use a couple tweaks too, hunting for mons with low spawn probability in SM is fucking brutal suffering, they could probably cut down the waiting time just a little bit and make it a lot less frustrating
