make it with like, 50 characters to start off with, iconic pokemon with an evolution trilogy (I'm assuming at Level 1 you will be a 1st evolution, and as you level up in the match you will "evolve")
they would have a literal excuse to do the league thing and lock you out of characters in the roster in order to sell them to you, because pokemon lore states "gotta catch em all". they could also sell people cosmetics of shiny pokemon and things like that. people eat that shit up. but as an ex-DoTA player with 2000+ hours and a lifelong Pokemon fan, I can't see myself playing a MOBA on my cell phone no matter what the IP is. The screen is too small and would be covered up by my thumbs using the controls. I can see how it could possibly work on Switch if done right. I would at least give it a shot on PC.
