>>36117054>It's the comedy relief mon and they don't evolve and still haven't.Sun and moon is a comedy relief anime. It tends to make gag faces 98% of the times and no character (but gladion) is immune to it. Even Kaki, a character who made a badass serious first impression is now making gag faces. I feel like people are still over looking this fact. Plus I think Rotom is still the true comedy relief Pokemon on SM. tell me who seems more comedic Rotom or Rowlet. The Pokemon who acts and dresses like human and is comedic 100% of the time he's on screen compared to the one that fights just cute and is clearly being effected by the comedic feels of the anime. Rowlet not having a single dedicated episode is odd for a Ash mon and a supposedly popular starter in japan. They make more merchandise of Rowlet because it sells more. SM's merchandise shilling is coming to end soon. I see no reason to not evolve it further because the Japanese people are pretty much filled with Rowlet merchandise. Plus let's make a comparison to similar Pokemon. May's Torchic it's cute very marketable and was the closest thing to the comedy relief Pokemon in AG but it fully evolved
But if you read how it acts or acted when a Torchic you'll start to notice it was a bi- a lot comedic
>Much like May in the beginning of her journey, Torchic was very inexperienced and unsure of itself. It was also shown to be a rather curious, ditzy, and playful Pokémon. It did not know how to battle and it tended to wander around aimlessly when brought out of its Poké Ball. Additionally, it used to panic when in dangerous situations. When May started to ignore Torchic in favor of her Beautifly, Torchic felt like it needed to compete for May's attention and its personality began to change: it grew more determined to improve itself and recapture May's attention. Its competitive streak continued to grow as it lost most of its childishness
