The best reason to use s grotle vs s victreebel is that s grotle can tank an ice beam from azuumers and finish the job afterward, which gives you a massive switch and energy advantage without investing shields. The biggest reason to use s grotle over regular grotle is that s grotle finishes the zuumer before zuumer gets to a second charge without using a charge itself, meaning you can better pressure the skarmory they send in afterward.
I don’t know about vanilla grotle’s neutral matchups but s grotle fucks some neutrals up if you give it a few shields or switch at opportune times to dodge charges.
Mine is somewhere <200 on stat percentile, it has frustration removed but i usually only use body slam but energy ball is nice for the defense debuff roll as a hail mary and for vs bastiodon.
