Best part of all is since Serena has previously decided that she wants lots of people to see her perform, and to visit lots of places and new regions with her Pokémon, claiming that all the experience will help them grow and mature. This includes the SV region, whatever its names in this Pokémon presents stream on August 3rd, 2022. As a result, there will forever be a chance, even if it's resorted to fan art, fanfics and headcanons and regardless of how long it lasts. And in case you didn't know, sometimes it's opposites that attract, in the case of Ash and Serena who are complete opposites. It's like Adrien and Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug where it's the exact same thing for them.
tl;dr I'll never be permabanned because your m**s / j*****s are useless, time to move on for good. I will defend Serena / Amour forever. All symbol posters = dawn/pearlfag(s). Serena will keep traveling to new regions after Hoenn to improve on her performances, even in future gens after gen 8, and thanks to this Ash and Serena still have chance, even if fanmade content is made and regardless of reunion time. And Opposites attract with Ash and Serena, just like Adrien and Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug.
