If these things are part of a game, anything at all that gives any aspect of randomness or chance, then the game should not be played at a "competitive" level.
Furthermore; IV's were given to Pokemon for diversity, the concept of having hexaperfect IV'd Pokemon was clearly not intended by gamefreak to be easily obtained. Otherwise the Destiny Knot would pass down 6 IV's and not 5.
But this is all speculation and just my opinion.

This isn't fucking animal crossing it's a turn based RPG, you can literally get every single mega stone in a single sitting with 'minimal tedium' but why do I have to wait over the course of a week (or more) for a single mega stone? It's shit; this literally takes the shit cake in terms of stupidity for what gamefreak is trying to pull.
Worst of all there isn't even anything to do with battling, it's worse than bike simulator. With masion you at east have battles and eye candy with some ridiculous NPC dialogue but this, this is just going from place to place for almost nothing.

OP here; like I said, I understand the concept of injection; tbh if showdown wasn't a thing I'd be playing the game and injecting. But it makes literally no sense; unless you can honestly say that the main story is a driving factor for you (which let's be honest, for people who play competitively, it isn't (most of the time)) then by all means fly at it. That shit is fucking retarded and yet you're still playing on cart where people can do anything and rules are not set (for the most part). All in all, no one in this thread has yet given a reasonable answer to why inject on cart other than they really, really, REALLY like the animations and graphics; and that shouldn't be the reason you play a fucking game.
