His rival is Tierno and no matter who wins Sloths gives them both a body crushing hug and they all get ice cream wondering wtf their purpose is on Calem/Serena's/Ash's journey other then being token fat kids in a 80's style adventure only this one has a lion at the end rather then a pirate.
