worst memory: accidentally wasting my master ball on a lunatone, then one-shotting Kyogre with a leaf blade later in the game and losing the opportunity to catch it
it was a good thing in retrospect, not having a legendary to beat the elite four. my little 8 year old brain needed to work a little harder and i appreciate that now, but at the time i felt like such an idiot
