Why does it seem that no one realizes that sun/moon was a soft reboot?
NO the national dex wasn't "moved" to the pokebank, it doesn't exist in the game, you get nothing for completing it and the mons from it doesn't even get properly registered.
they rebooted, changed the formula a bit, picked 300 mons +-, changed a few older ones, and gave ones a brand new rebooted game
OF COURSE we can get our old mons there, or the community would freak out! but it's more like a HUGE and OBIVOUS easter egg, like the amiibo stuff on BOTW.
why no one else talks about this, pokemon was actually rebooted for real this time, much harder than the so called black white reboot.
