Besides imo there being random teams other than the guild goes some way towards effectively "populating" the wider world so to speak, gives more room for random small things without stepping on toes hopefully. Was the character blurbs thing still a thing btw? I'm writing that down on what I had in mind for how the two of them are here before I forget and recalled that was a thing awhile back.
