Idea that it's an island off of Galar (since Game Freak cucked me out of the Britain idea). Fakemon ideas include a harpy-thing that disguises itself a la Latias with ice, a beetle that's definitely not a rider, a lizard that fights with its dropped and skeletonized tail, and a misty unicorn species that stands as the region's obligatory creature of legend (for now).
At some point I'll actually think of some that make sense for the locale outside of the unicorn, but I'm enjoying my autism for now. My hat goes to the folks who're doing this properly.
