>Literally everything else in the book is accurate and far more fantastical than just a few unique pokemon i strongly disagree since without the paradox pokemon, all heath finds is regular pokemon you can find everywhere, a crop circle and a weird tablet. they had the crystals but didnt have the means to do anything with them yet since it took another 200 years for the professor to turn them into something useful.
WITH the paradox mons you suddenly have this really cool, dangerous and sexy sci-fi adventure book with fucked up super pokemon that even killed a dude. Heath invented Poke-cryptids that are still talked about to the time SV takes place so again i'd say he was right to do it if his goal was to make money.
>Why would they lie about that.The expedition had a ton of money backing it and Heath probably thought none of the stuff he found was worth the hype, he himself says that the coveted treasure of area zero is still out there somewhere, implying even he thinks any of the stuff he found is worth the title or the hype, so he adds his fakemons to spice it up and the book sells like hotcakes
