It digs the claw-like parts on both its feet and the tip of its tail into the ground and sucks up the weak electricity flowing underground.
Its original habitat, the other-universe Alola, is most likely a world of lightning, hit by endless lightning strikes. It is filled with electricity due to the lightning that strikes the electrically charged earth, and it is thought that it lives by absorbing electricity without moving much, and its ecology is similar to that of trees.
Originally, it only walks on its own when there is little electricity in the nearby soil.
In other words, it is thought that the world of lightning also has a rhythm like the rainy season and dry season.
However, compared to the original world, the Alola region has overwhelmingly less electricity, so it is always undernourished and wanders desperately in search of electricity.
It is also thought that there are few things that pose a threat to them.
Rather than attacking, when they encounter an enemy, they will light up their heads to blind them and generally try to run away. There is also a theory that this is because the creatures of this world (people and Pokémon) look strange and eerie to Lightning.
To avoid conflict, they have a technique where the leaves all over their body will dimly blink, hypnotizing the victim.
However, Lightnings possess extraordinary powers and are still dangerous as they wander around hungry.
Perhaps because they look similar to their kind and can sense electrical wavelengths, they climb utility poles and gather around power lines. They also attack electric-type Pokémon, illuminations, electric cars, and their charging stations to steal their energy.
