>>16859897So, here were my features for the prevo:
Physical:
>Multicolored tail, floaty limbs, beady yellow eye.Color scheme:
>Primarily green, secondarily black.Body shape:
>Smooth, round/bead likeIf you compare those to the current evo, you see that the evo doesn't have the multicolored tail, the floaty limbs, and though his body is smooth, it'd not round or bead like. Then me and QB got into a debate about how some mons don't have their body shape stay consistent, such as dratini line, trapinch, etc, but that's besides the point.
After all that was said and done, we both agreed that the prevo should have non floaty limbs since floating limbs were tried on the evo many times and it was disliked. I then asked him what he thought the key features on the prevo were, and he said this:
Physical:
>Yellow eyes, thin black legsColor scheme:
>Primarily green, secondarily black. (same as me)Body shape
>Like a computer mouse with a scorpion tail.I pointed out how the thinness of the legs was IMO a body shape thing, and the tail was a physical thing, since body shape is about proportions, outlines, texture, etc, not about the parts of the body. I also asked him how he would define a computer mouse, to which he then replied: "round on the top, flat on the bottom".
Though he feels the body shape of the evo is fine as is, he agrees it does not follow the "mouse like" (I prefer "bead like" since the prevo doesn't actually have a sharp, flat bottom, but whatever) shape of the prevo
TL;DR:
IMO what we need to do to fix vectol is either modify the current design or make an edit of the prevo to have non floaty legs, and have the evo have a bead like body. Pic related is examples of previous vectols that have had it.
Or we could have the evo have floaty legs and a bead like body, I think that will be harder to make work than the other way around.
QB just thinks making the prevo have non floaty legs would work.
