The ironic thing about the ability to change natures is that, when combined with Gen 7's Golden Bottle Caps, it's now possible to make any Pokemon ever competitively viable. Get a random shiny with a trash nature? It can be made competitive now, it's wonderful.
Except, this is the game with dex cuts so a huge chunk of Pokemon aren't even going to be allowed in the games.
