About the anon who asked if lusting Serena was part of her character, for me it has more to do with Omode's style.
In terms of Amour, the other writers did mostly stuff like pic related, but Omode (and Matsui as we could see in XYZ 22) did also a lot of exaggerated reactions and funny faces.
That's why I think we can expect a lot of episodes written by Omode in Sun and Moon, because it fits with her style.
But really I still don't know what was the staff thinking when they decided to change the anime into a slapstick comedy.
