It's not some fucking secret club and this is not the fighting of some fucking propaganda war to win over the members of the "public" against some faceless and despotic menace.
The reason why tiles will not be surveyed and why there won't be a grand bureaucratization of tiles is not a spiteful or exclusive one, it is deeply practical.
1. There will be literally thousands of tiles that need to constantly checked and rechecked and edited in an organic process to meet a standard of quality and functionality. This is not something that can or should be fucked up by you.
2. From experience, anybody present knows that past attempts to survey tiles have been horrific and the results have been immediately shut away.
3. There is an extremely limited number of people making tiles. They are Gunvarrel, Quality Bro, Brylark and Renob. The rate at which new tiles are made and at which they are edited can not be conformed to a schedule or described by a a predefined process. Tiles are made as needed and edited as needed by these people for mappers and for the project.
4. Mapchat is not secretive or exclusive. As with many parts of the project, the only person that is explicitly denied from entry is Majora. Every single other person that expresses interest or willingness in the topic open to join and discuss and hopefully contribute to the second most technically restricted and defined sector of the project to programming itself.
