>>46930840>There are far too many Pokemon with blatantly awful stats and movepools that it makes you wonder if Game Freak legitimately plays favorites with some Pokemon and has diarrhea explosions on others.It's blatantly obvious that they do Venusaur has been confirmed to be Masuda's and Miyamoto's favorite and Charizard is obviouslyTPC's favorite (or alteas one of their favorites). It's no coincidence that those two have become VGC Staples as soon as Game Freak started seriously paying attention to competitive. To drive the point home compare them to Typhlosion and Meganium, who were given the most useless and barren movepools out of any starter Pokemon (even being robbed of moves that other Volcanomons and Flowermons automatically get.)
