>>12722200>>12722195When the Aoao was coloured too similar to Dreamdery, a lot of people thought it was an evolution, and it made a huge kerfuffle. I personally don't think you should evolve into your own predator, and they were made to be two different opposing concepts.
The fur should be the opposite colour to Dreamdery (that is, the shiny) for variation. At least, that's what I believe since I don't think they should look like the same pokemon with different personalities. They should look like 2 different pokemon. The opposite mane colour helps this, I think.
My original brown was based on the original pinkbrown concept art that was offered, and since it's sort of stuck to me, I have a hard time thinking of a different colour. There really isn't an opposite of gray, but if you could play with gray/black (without being too similar to dreamdery) or something that's not an eyesore (like the bright blue pallette that was offered once) I think it'd be ok.
