Getting back into the TCG over the past month after taking a four year break. Spent about 50+ bucks on cards trying to assemble a good Fennekin-Delphox oriented Fire-Normal deck.
Is building a deck around energy recycling still valid? Right now I'm running 2 Braixard, 1 Lopuff, 2 Ninetales V, 1 V Max as my hard hitters with Training Gym, and Burning Scarves for energy retrieval. I also have 3 stage Fennekin-Delphox from the SM expansions, Arcanine, Ninetales, etc for setup.
Is that a logical way to build a deck? I haven't played in so long, I dominate the house I live in, but I'm the only one actively trying to make a deck I can take to card shop tournaments.
