They never got to watch the original series, open the earliest sets and packs of Pokemon cards, get the now-controversial plastic Poke Ball Burger King toys, hunt for holographic Charizards, play Red, Blue and Yellow for the first time, or go see the First Movie, and watch in awe as they see the never-before-seen Pokemon we later came to know as Donphan.
This is why they hate us original fans so much. Truly, I pity them.
