>>39102157>Swoobat line cont.Swoobat is a great extension of Woobat and a underrated design in its own right, with the tail pieces tied into a heart and the ears fused into a metronome, giving it a kooky look while reinforcing the sound theme (which Noivern does later). It also doubles Woobat's teeth, reinforcing the pair theme. It also uses the waves it emits for courtship, developing off of that "positive mood shift" lore nicely and once again tying in some real-world biology. Its face also vaguely resembles an old radio or jukebox. For a pokemon as simple as Woobat, this is a brilliant evolution.

As far as filler fish go they're alright and I like how they're so violent that they murder everything, explaining why they're the only Surfing encounter in ponds. Their hostility towards each other also explains why they're borderline version exclusives which usually isn't explained by lore. The oni/gang themes are decent. Some people even tie them to political parties. They do their job serviceably and I can't wait to hear how they're so much worse than goddamned Goldeen and Finneon. Throw out your shitty argument, make my day.
