Back at it again! Since i generally avoid using Headbutt to get encounters i thought, why not? Got an exeggcute and a Heracross from it :) Also caught Sudowoodo instead of going for Growlithe, since the guy on route 36 never gives me a fire stone anyway and I dont want to waste a 'badge point' on it. Turned out o be a wrong call because that fucker just called me that he had a fire stone.

I lead with Rumoi who makes short work of both Gastly and Zubat. Quilava comes next and it uses SmokeScreen. Major props for Miyako for hitting through 3 Smokescreens (Chita and Ono keep missing 95% and 80% accuracy moves).
Magnemite is next and that thing does scare me since I can't really hit it that hard and it has Sonic Boom. Luckily for me the AI kept going for SuperSonic, so Rumoi could hypnotize it and whittle it down with Confusions!

Rumoi takes down Gastly, but gets paralyzed by its Lick attack first. a Haunter comes in and uses Curse. Rumoi finishes the Haunter off with Confusion.

is next. I sent out Hokota on a Shadow Ball. It tries to Hypnotize my owl, it misses (wouldn't work anyway) and Hokota sets up Reflect against Sucker Punches (almost got KO'd twice when fighting gym trainers due to crits) . A few confusions later and Morty heals Gengar. Hokota puts Gengar to sleep on the heal and sweeps Gengar and the last Haunter, who helped by cutting half his HP.
It's kind of sad how much an Insomnia mon and a single Normal Type fuck over Morty this hard.
