And I have my antagonist for Wolke.
Kayden from Castelia City. College student (Horticulture)
Comes from a wealthy family of doctors and jokingly calls himself the black sheep for being more interested in plants than in medicine. He was studying in Galar until recently but is currently taking a break from college and living in his psychotherapist brother's recently closed office for the time being. Though not a therapist himself he takes an interest in Wolke's activities of helping mourning people and wants to work with her.
I'm not sure if I'll ever actually write this story since I'm a master procrastinator. Still, I'll spoiler the rest of my notes.
The theme of my story is the importance of negative feelings and working through your grief in a healthy manner. Kayden's brother committed suicide a few months earlier and Kayden isn't taking it well. With his botany knowledge and the help of his Pokémon he has been working on a questionable mind altering "medicine" that's supposed to "cure sorrow". Since Wolke works a lot with sad people her contacts are the perfect guinea pigs for his research, and he is convinced that he's helping them by basically making them forget about their loss. Being so dedicated to making people happy, Wolke herself will also have to decide if she is in favor of erasing one's sad past or facing it even if it's painful.>>56326094Ghost squad, assemble! Hey, it's not our fault that some of the coolest Pokémon just happen to all be Ghost type!
