>They absolutely do, just not on the forums outside of specific examples. Check public and see if you find certain names coming up often; they'll either be TC members listed on the page, or their alts they use to sell on ebay. What you're talking about is something completely different. You got two different posts and two different replies mixed up somewhere along the line.
But to talk about the completely different thing you're posting about here, you're also wrong. You actually gave the answer yourself:
>Any offer that is not a scam gets traded in the fist 30 minutes, any offer that is a GOOD trade gets sniped in less than a minute. This means that by looking at the trades NOT being taken, we can see what a card ISN'T worth and infer its objective value from that.
Right now, there are exactly four different trades offering Yanmega BREAK for RS packs. All four trades want 3 RS for it, and all three trades are on the cusp of timing out.
You yourself said that obviously good trades get taken instantly, so that must mean these aren't good trades. Since no one is giving 3 RS for Yanmega BREAK, we can infer that Yanmega is worth LESS than 3 RS. Normally you'd think that puts it at ~2 RS, and normally you'd be right, but knowing that Yanmega BREAK is a fotm junk rare, you can argue that it's worth less than that. Which is why my original post valued it at 1~2 RS.
Forum prices, on the other hand, are designed around generating pure profit for the TC. Top Cut, Violet City, and Phantom Knight are valuing Yanmega for 4~5 packs even though we just figured out the value is 1~2. It's a scam. Never use them, because they're far from the truth, and there's no real rule of thumb to them.
I've been in these threads for years now and I have to explain this to people every other week. I should just write a picture guide.
