All of the mainline Pokemon games since the 1st Generation have had at least 2 different versions released. Not only that, but there's also the ranger and mystery dungeon series of games, which ALSO have different versions. How do all of these connect continuity-wise? Surely, the Mystery Dungeon games along with Battle Trozei and Shuffle are either a dream or an alternate timeline, but what about the mainline games, ranger series, and N64 stadium 0-2, GCN Colosseum, Battle Revolution, and Pokken Tournament DX? I already know that the 1st and 3rd gens take place at around the same time, with gens 2 and 4 both taking place after 1 and 3. Gen 5 comes after each of the previous ones time-wise, but after that, I am not so sure save for maybe Gen 6 occurring shortly after 5's events ended. Then there's the issue concerning the different versions of the games...
